Post 2-Sexual harassment

Hello everyone! I'd like to discuss a problem of sexual harassment.
I found one story which shows what the sexual harassment is.

Ayesha Gulalai Wazir is a politician and a member of Pakistan’s National Assembly. In August 2017, Gulalai came out and talked about the harassment she faced by her party, Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaf’s chairperson, Imran Khan for sending her lewd texts in October 2013. She decided to tell it to the world but she was not understanded. She faced backflash for speaking out against the party leader.

Ayesha Gulalai found herself at the centre of internet trolling and nationwide mudslinging.
This story shows us the main problem of sexual harassment. Women don't speak about this because they are scared to be humiliated. Some people don't understand that for some women even a lewd SMS can be objectionable.

N.Yu.: Explain why you found this particular story so disturbing and why it touched you so much.
N. Yu. Look through the article and choose 5-6 expressions that you find useful to remember in the context of this discussion and make your own examples with them.

It's awful that people can't get the message. Women are abused and humiliated, and the only thing that can help in this situation is comprehension. But our society is based on patriarchal notions which sometimeas are sexist. What can we do with it? I think it should be solved by the government, then they must make some kind of propaganda to make people understand that it's really important to help women in such conditions.

    1. Thanks for sharing the explanations of new words from the article. Are they your own or taken from a dictionary? If the latter, what dictionary did you used?

    2. Sorry, just noticed a typo above: "it should be what dictionary did you use". Was too tired. Did not notice it before.
